12. FROM NEPAL TO INDIA
From Nepal back to India
Hello to all our faithful readers.
Now hardens in Delhi, because we have to wait for the new Iranian visa. Unfortunately, our original plan to see the beautiful Iran needs much reduced, since the Iranian Embassy issued tourist visas for up to a minute. 21 days, so we only have a transit visa. They are issued within 5 days and are only 1 week, we go a little faster …. Time spent in Delhi, we paid the local sights and recognize that they are really beautiful.
Mosques, tombs, fortress, military museum, the presidential residence, etc. All this Muslim ancestors built or English. Sightseeing is difficult enough, the day when the temperature is over 45 degrees in the shade. We are getting accustomed to India, but just because you cease to feel the terrible mess and dangerous traffic.
Traffic on roads in India is a nightmare for European drivers. Probably a bit related to learning and intelligence of Indian drivers, otherwise I can not really explain it. Brands that do not exist, the law probably do not either, and if there are any, so there is no breach as a cop you meet up at the restaurant. The trucks travel in the opposite direction, buses will displace the road, the sacred cows sleeping on the roads and when they troubíte as well neuhnou. Driving at night is a horror! Lit a couple of cars and the rest of drivers simply do not even know about, that their car is a light you would want. It must be very careful and shine a high beam as he goes against you the other car, you are hit by a tractor unlit. It’s just a fact very difficult. Well, traffic in Indian cities and we will not comment!!
In Delhi, we went rather across Nepal. In Nepal, the communists won the elections, as you probably know. Before the election, made quite a problem, demonstrate, block traffic, etc. Once the election is finally quiet. We asked people what they thought about it, but everybody we said that the election results is satisfied. Perhaps the situation has worsened and everything o.k. Our journey from Kathmandu led through the small town of Pokhara, where we spent two days and then we headed west to the Indian border. We slept in the wild in the woods and showed us a beautiful nature reserve of the Royal Bardia. Unfortunately we have not met the tiger, but we found a guest book entry from the Czech and Slovak motorcyclists who were there last year and there’s much we praise. There’s really excited to read the Czech language in the guestbook until 10tis Nepal. miles from home. It is not cool when you meet someone from the Czech Republic as we first met in Singapore, Ivan and Eva from Prague. We were so happy to have them spend the night at a local bar. We hope to catch the morning plane. Then we met two traveler in Laos, but now in Nepal and Vojta Marketa from Liberec, we went out to trek to Everest. Well, we have veered a bit from Delhi …..
Our spolucestovatel Frank is still with us and always has problems with the car. I changed the second air bellows in the service and now in Delhi had to buy new tires. Car does not get on a vendor who sold him the new Nissan sleeper he knew that the car can handle Asian roads and paths. Gave up !!!!!
Oh, my Heduška, that’s another story. The only protests against the toils and nothing contrary to thrive when we are heading into the jungle or the mountains. It has no toilet and shower and a sleeping cabin of Nissan, but it does not matter to us because we are just better in nature. As we mentioned at the beginning and the way that you carry Análku chair, which, although proven in the Romanian Carpathians, and in Asia it did not end well with her. Here has not ever use one’s eyes are everywhere. We had it in the roof box and when we badly needed it, so there was no time for her to climb onto the roof. Since it was unused and just taking up space, and with tears in her eyes, we gave the security guard at our hotel in Chennai. The guards are not ask why the big chair in the round hole, but happy to thank the new odpočívadloJJ. Maybe once they figure out what to serve ….
We finally got the visa and we set the direction of the Delhi Pakistan border. Along the way, represents the Amritstaru, where we visit famous historical monument the Golden Temple. It was a very powerful experience full of rituals and prayers. After a snack we set the direction of the Pakistan border. Perhaps there is a better situation and you are so maybe you’ll get another article. Well hello, Milan and Eve.
